Assistant Controller

Job Description:

Will work closely with Director of Finance in managing finance & accounting team who provide accounting services to internal & external customers of alternative fuel company in San Luis Obispo, CA. Duties include: Maintaining responsibility for generation of monthly financial statements, reports, & reconciliations with guidance from Director of Finance along with involvement in billing, annual budgeting, & internal controls; Assisting in various other projects as needed & time permits. Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; At least 5 yrs accounting exp.; At least 2 yrs supervisory exp. Exp. with full ERP software such as SAP or JD Edwards a plus. Advanced degree or professional certification (such as MBA or CPA) a plus, but not required. Full-time, Direct Hire position.
