STAFF ACCOUNTANT - -Empirical Systems Aerospace, Inc. is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our finance department. ESAero is a growing aerospace company in the San Luis Obispo area and provides various services which include but are not limited to: rapid system development, on-demand niche engineering, hands-on development/testing, and small UAS aerospace system manufacturing. - -**This position is fully on-site at Empirical System's Aerospace in San Luis Obispo, CA - -Essential Duties and Responsibilities: -

• Purchase Orders reviewing -
• A/R & A/P processing -
  • Payroll processing -
  • Cost accounting -
  • Monthly journal entries -
  • Reconciliations (Banking, Assets & Liabilities) -
  • Support Finance Manager with various tasks/projects -
    • Periodical Financial Closings -
    • Logistics support -
    • Project Management support -Basic Qualifications/Requirements: -
      • US Citizen -
        • 2+ Years Accounting Experience -
        • Experience with ERP/Netsuite & Paychex (not required) -
        • BS in Accounting or Finance preferred -
        • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills -
        • Extreme attention to detail -
          • Understanding of business accounting principles and software as well as basic auditing principles -
          • Understanding of basic contracting principles (government and commercial) -
          • Familiarity with DCAA compliance a plus -Standard Benefits: -
