About the Position

The Health Agency is actively recruiting foranAdministrative Services Manager - Behavioral Health. Funding for this position is pending Board approval.

The Behavioral Health Department of San Luis Obispo County is seeking an Administrative Services Manager to oversee financial components of California Advancing and Innovating Medi-Cal (CalAIM) payment reform, implementation of the County's new Behavioral Health Electronic Health Record (BHEHR), and program and financial consolidations and changes.

The position will report directly to the Health Agency Department Administrator and directly supervises the Behavioral Health Accountants. The position is responsible for monitoring and assessing fiscal data for financial effectiveness and operational efficiency, reporting and budget preparation, leading and coordinating future rate development and move toward capitated rates, liaising between Behavioral Health program staff, fiscal staff, and leadership, and other projects as assigned.

Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a bachelor's degree in business or public administration, accounting or a closely related field.(Job-related, professional-level experience may substitute for the required education,on a year-for-year basis.) In addition, three years of increasingly responsible professional-level experience involving work with a variety of administrative operations. One year of the required experience must have been in a supervisory position.
