Job Summary: Works withDepartment Director to ensure the planning, coordination and provision ofnursing care to patients on specified units and shifts. Supervises anddelegates care responsibilities to nursing and ancillary personnel,commensurate with their scope of practice. Promotes the use of bestpractices in the delivery of patient care. Facilitates Lean DailyManagement activities. Works collaboratively with leadership to promoteprofessional nursing practice and behavior. Qualifications: Required Training/Education/Experience/Certification: Minimum one year previous Acute Care experience. Desired Training/Education/Experience/Certification: (1) BSN (2) Previous charge nurse experience in Acute Care setting; (3) ACLS Analytical and grammatical skills are necessary to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing. Organizational and multi-tasking skills are essential. Must be fluent in spoken and written English. Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position.
