• Employee assistance program Job Summary The Labor and Delivery Nurse is responsible for the planning and provision of nursing care to patients and their families during the antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods, including emergency situations and circulating for C-Sections. Supervises and delegates care responsibilities to ancillary personnel commensurate with their scope of practice. Qualifications - External Required Training/Education/Experience/Certification
  • 9 months acute care experience
  • Current CA RN License
  • Current BLS, ACLS Certifications
  • Must obtain NRP Certification within 90 days of hire or transfer
  • Must complete a Fetal Monitoring Class within 90 days of hire or transfer
  • Must be willing and able to cross train for OB/GYN patients Desired Training/Education/Experience/Certification
    • Must be able to follow instructions, work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment
    • Analytical and grammatical skills are necessary to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
    • Organizational and multi-tasking skills are essential
    • Must be fluent in spoken and written English.
