Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) . In this role, you will provide specialized care to critically ill patients, closely monitoring vital signs, administering treatments, and collaborating with the healthcare team to provide the highest quality of care. Key Responsibilities : Patient Monitoring & Care : Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients, monitoring vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and other physiological indicators. Administer medications, fluids, and treatments as prescribed, closely observing for side effects or complications. Perform comprehensive patient assessments and intervene appropriately, including emergency responses when needed. Collaborative Care : Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and adjust individualized care plans. Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and communicate updates on patient status, concerns, and needs. Respond to and manage medical emergencies, ensuring prompt action to stabilize patients. Patient and Family Support : Educate patients (when possible) and families about care plans, treatment options, and recovery goals. Provide emotional support to families dealing with critically ill patients, answering questions and providing resources. Documentation & Reporting : Accurately document all aspects of patient care, including assessments, medication administration, and interventions in the Electronic Health Record (EHR). Ensure timely and precise reporting of patient condition changes to the appropriate healthcare providers. Infection Control & Safety : Adhere to hospital protocols for infection prevention, patient safety, and confidentiality. Ensure the ICU environment remains safe, clean, and organized, with proper handling of equipment and supplies. Professional Development : Stay current on best practices, new technologies, and treatment protocols in critical care nursing. Participate in ongoing training, certification, and development opportunities.
