Neonatal Intensive Care Lead for a nursing job in San Luis Obispo,

Ongoing Employment Type: Staff $25,000 hiring incentive available
to those who qualify! Hiring incentive may be paid out in
increments. The estimated base pay for this position is $53.61 to
$80.34. Additional individual compensation may be available for
this role through differentials, extra shift incentives, bonuses,
etc. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a
comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying
positions. Differential detail: Evening Shift: $1.50/hour Night
Shift: $6.00/hour Nestled on the Central California Coast,

Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and county designated trauma

lifestyle San Luis Obispo offers much to be had. POSITION SUMMARY:
RN, Nurse Lead, NICU The RN, Nurse Lead, NICU works with Department
Manager and Director to ensure the planning, coordination and
provision of nursing care to patients on specified units and
shifts. Supervises and delegates care responsibilities to nursing
and ancillary personnel, commensurate with their scope of practice.
Promotes the use of best practices in the delivery of patient care.
Facilitates Lean Daily Management activities. Works collaboratively
with leadership to promote professional nursing practice and
behavior. JOB REQUIREMENTS: RN, Nurse Lead, NICU Analytical and
grammatical skills are necessary to communicate effectively,
verbally and in writing. Organizational and multi-tasking skills
are essential. Must be fluent in spoken and written English. Must
be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position.
EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE: Associate degree or equivalent:
Required Bachelor's degree (BSN): Preferred Minimum one year of
previous NICU experience: Required Previous charge nurse experience
in acute care setting: Preferred LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS: Current
CA RN license: Required AHA-BLS-HCP: Required PALS: Required NRP:
Required RNC: Preferred Organizational Requirements: Adventist
