Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 11/24/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist – Travel Contract Location: San Luis Obispo, CA Start Date: November 24, 2025 Contract Length: 13 Weeks Shift: 5x8-Hour Days (07:00–15:00) Employment Type: Travel Contract Job Summary The Interventional Radiology Technologist supports physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular, pulmonary, and vascular conditions through invasive and non-invasive procedures. This role involves operating specialized imaging and physiological equipment, maintaining sterile technique, and ensuring accurate documentation and equipment maintenance. Key Responsibilities Assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures Operate and maintain cardiac cath equipment including C-Arm, angiographic injectors, and monitoring systems Monitor and record patient vital signs throughout procedures Apply radiation safety standards and aseptic techniques Perform equipment troubleshooting and preventive maintenance Complete procedural documentation and ensure accurate charge capture Maintain a clean and stocked procedure room Support departmental education and performance improvement initiatives Required Qualifications Associate’s degree or equivalent education/experience (preferred) Minimum of 1 year catheterization experience (preferred) ARRT-R certification Valid Radiologic Technologist license in California Current Fluoroscopy license BLS certification (AHA or equivalent) Additional Details Vaccination compliance required; medical and religious exemptions may apply Location: San Luis Obispo, CA Shift: Monday–Friday, 07:00–15:00 About The Judge Group Judge Healthcare, a division of The Judge Group, bridges the talent divide for companies and organizations across the healthcare ecosystem, providing resources and specialized roles such as travel nurses, allied health professionals, locum tenens, and more.
