Registered Nurse (RN) | Home Health Location: Santa Maria, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,803 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 1/12/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Home Health RN in Santa Maria, California, 93454! Job Title: Home Health RN Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Home Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8H Days Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS Certification Must-Have: BLS Certification Description: The role involves working in home health settings with flexibility in scheduling. Patient loads are usually about 5 visits per day. Admissions are usually equivalent to two patients. The electronic medical record system used is Netsmart. There is no charge nurse or nurse aides on this unit. The staff is required to work every third weekend. When working on weekends, staff can have a day off the week before and after if desired. Staff will rotate working during holidays. Scrub color is not specified, any color is acceptable. Common diagnoses and types of patients include those receiving infusions, IV antibiotics, TPN, central lines, and PICC lines. Blood draws are also part of the responsibilities. Staff may be required to take on-call shifts, usually 2-4 times per month for weekdays, from 5 PM to 8 AM. If a visit relates to a pediatric condition, the patient will be sent to the ER for evaluation.
