qualifications will not be considered. A pharmacy professional is
needed to provide vital pharmacy services at a well-established
medical center in Santa Barbara, CA. This contract opportunity
offers two distinct roles within a busy hospital system and an
infusion center pharmacy, offering the chance to work with
specialized oncology medications or to gain varied experience
across multiple pharmacy locations. Key Responsibilities: Option 1:
Float among three pharmacies within the healthcare system,
including the main hospital, a secondary hospital, and the infusion
center pharmacy. Option 2: Focus on the infusion center pharmacy
with a specialization in oncology medication preparation and
management. Ensure accurate dispensing of medications and patient
safety. Collaborate closely with healthcare providers across
departments. Adapt to rotating shifts which may include swing
shifts, weekends, and holidays to meet operational needs. Schedule:
Full-time hours with 8- and 10-hour shifts dependent on location.
Variable schedule including every other weekend and holiday shifts.
Desired Experience: Prior pharmacy professional experience within a
hospital or medical center. Experience with Cerner pharmacy systems
preferred; training is available. PGY1 residency highly preferred.
Oncology and chemotherapy experience is a strong plus. Local
candidates preferred to facilitate ease of scheduling and travel;
however, qualified candidates willing to travel for this 3 to 6
month contract with potential for temp-to-hire status will be
considered. Location: Santa Barbara, California area. This role
represents an excellent chance to work in a dynamic healthcare
setting with exposure to oncology pharmacy practice. Interested

Compensation for this position ranges from $61.00 to $72.00.
