As a PCU RN, you’ll deliver direct, monitored care for patients requiring intermediate to high-acuity support, including telemetry monitoring, IV therapy, medication administration, and timely response to evolving conditions. You’ll collaborate with physicians, case managers, and bedside colleagues to coordinate care plans, ensure safe transitions, and optimize patient outcomes. The role emphasizes critical thinking, rapid problem solving, and clear communication under pressure.
