Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: San Luis Obispo, CA Agency: Jackson HealthPros Pay: $2,057 to $2,257 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/27/2026 About the Position We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you’ll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders. Minimum Requirements: Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program. Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license in good standing with the State of California. Registered Respiratory Therapist credential (NBRC-RRT) preferred; NBRC-CRT acceptable if applicable. Minimum 5 years of critical care respiratory therapy experience required. Minimum 2–3 years of neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) experience required, including neonatal intubation experience. Certifications required at time of hire or within 90 days: Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Basic Life Support (BLS). Ability to complete documentation in electronic medical records and maintain accurate flow sheets and charges. Demonstrated ability to work independently and to supervise others as delegated. Willingness to be available for occasional neonatal transport call as required by the unit. Assignment Details Facility type: Hospital. Primary specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). Shift name: Nights. Shift pattern: 3 x 12-hour shifts, rotating schedule with no fixed weekdays. Shift hours: 1900–0700 (19:00–07:00). Weekly hours: 36. Position focus: Adult, geriatric, and neonatal respiratory care; participation in neonatal transports on occasion.
