administrative support of construction management and contract
administration on public works construction projects. Work under

- Provides support and coordination for multi-discipline team
(i.e., Resident Engineer, Inspectors, Designers) and multiple
stakeholders (i.e. Client, Contractor, Regulatory Agency, Utility
Company) for a given project.
- Organizes and maintains complete, up-to-date project
records.
- Tracks time and budgets, schedules, and resources.
- Tracks status and progress of project submittals, RFI's, CCO's,
and other project documents.
- Assists in the preparation of progress pay estimates.
- Communicates verbally and formally with client representatives,
contractors, and engineers.
- Attends construction meetings as required. Prepares meeting
agendas and minutes.
- Provides assistance with research tasks (cost gathering and
comparison, CCO and claim documentation, etc.).
- Establishes contacts and coordinates with clients, departments,
regulatory agencies, utility companies and contractors to obtain or
furnish required project records and documents.
- Prepares and updates schedules in Microsoft Project and other
scheduling software.
- Updates project manager/Resident Engineer on progress of work
and informs him/her of problems and questions.
- Provides project document control for plans and specifications,
project documentation, submittals, RFI's, meeting agendas and
minutes, project closeout documents, project contacts, daily
reports, and project correspondence.
- Works closely with project team to implement project
requirements and tasks as well as office procedures, policies and
guidelines. .
Requirements:
- Degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred. May
accept four years relevant experience as an alternative to
degree.
- Must have at least four years of design and/or construction
project administration experience.
- Must be able to work within the core hours of contractors (7am
- 4pm).
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel required.
- Must be highly organized.
- Specific experience in one or more of the following fields
strongly preferred: transportation infrastructure, earthwork,
pipelines; water/wastewater infrastructure and utility
systems.
- Proficiency in MS Projects preferred.WE OFFER competitive
