Maintains storeroom inventory following corporate guidelines. Adjusts ROP/ROQ quantities to reflect changes in usage. Interacts with vendors and or customer service reps. to handle invoice, order expediting, product substitution, return and receiving problems. Places supply and equipment purchase or rental orders for timely delivery in compliance with corporate contracts. Creates and modifies departmental requisitions for in-stock items and PAR lists for distribution and keys data from them to create pick lists to distribute stock as needed. Performs weekly cycle count, perpetual inventories, including the count, inventory adjustments and report generation. Qualifications: Required Training/Education/Experience/Certification: Previous experience in inventory control procedures, familiar with hospital supplies, experience in tenet's computer inventory procedures (IMMS). Knowledgeable about shipping and receiving protocol. Must have experience in materials management and purchasing functions. Must possess computer skills in the IMMS inventory system, MS word, MS Outlook, Excel and 10 key operation. Must be analytical, organized, and have grammatical skills sufficient to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing. Must be fluent in spoken and written English. Must be able to occasionally lift and carry 50 pounds.
