JOIN CANNON as a CONSTRUCTION OFFICE ENGINEER in our SAN LUIS
OBISPO office. San Luis Obispo is on the beautiful central coast of
California, has scenic beaches, is surrounded by the wine country,

PROJECTS INCLUDE Streets & Highways, Bridges, Buildings, Wastewater
Treatment Facilities, Collection Facilities, Water Distribution
Systems, Water Treatment Plants, Storm Drainage Collection Systems
and Facilities, Recreational Facilities
JOB SUMMARY providing administrative support of construction
management and contract administration on public works construction
projects. Work under the direction of the Resident Engineer. For a

Provides support and coordination for multi-discipline team (i.e.,
Resident Engineer, Inspectors, Designers) and multiple stakeholders
(i.e. Client, Contractor, Regulatory Agency, Utility Company) for a
Organizes and maintains complete, up-to-date project records.
Tracks time and budgets, schedules, and resources.
Tracks status and progress of project submittals, RFI's, CCO's, and
other project documents.
Assists in the preparation of progress pay estimates.
Communicates verbally and formally with client representatives,
contractors, and engineers.
Attends construction meetings as required. Prepares meeting agendas
Provides assistance with research tasks (cost gathering and
comparison, CCO and claim documentation, etc.).
Establishes contacts and coordinates with clients, departments,
regulatory agencies, utility companies and contractors to obtain or
furnish required project records and documents.
Prepares and updates schedules in Microsoft Project and other

informs him/her of problems and questions.
Provides project document control for plans and specifications,
project documentation, submittals, RFI's, meeting agendas and
minutes, project closeout documents, project contacts, daily
reports, and project correspondence.

and tasks as well as office procedures, policies and
